Renting and watchong movies on Ipad

I am just learning about music, books, and movies on my Ipad so bear with me please!!!!

I want to rent a couple movies to watch on a plane trip. I went to I Movies and see where I can choose to buy or rent them.

How long do you have to watch them once downloaded? I assume bought ones can be watched at any time but rented ones must have a time limit. I didn't find any information in the guide other than downloading from Imovies

Do you need WIFI in order to watch the movies, or TV show?

How long you have to watch

You have 30 days to start watching a movie after you rent it. After you start watching the movie, you have 24 hours (in the US) or 48 hours (elsewhere) to finish it. You can watch the movie as often as you like until it expires.

If you don’t start watching a movie within 30 days, you must rent it again.

Movies you rent disappear from your iTunes library when the rental period ends.
