may i know where my emails are not downloading when i clicked the Get mail icon?

Hello Everyone,

I noticed that for the past days, I have been unable to retrieve my emails by clicking the Get Mail Icon. My email is from At.yahoo and am using apple mail.

I have an IMac OX apple mail. Frankly speaking, I have no knowledge on computers at all. So, my husband bought this one for me.

My son is busy studying for his mid term and is unable to assist me. Could anyone please HELP? Thank you.

iMac, OS X Yosemite (10.10.1)

Can you send e-mails?

What does Mail/Window/Connection Doctor Show? If the server is red, select it and look at the Show Details box.

Yes. I did the Connection Doctor and it showed 2 RED SPOTS indicating that my password word is incorrect.

I went and change it to the new password which I can reset on Att.net/Yahoo BUT the OLD Password kept on

showing. Is my account being Hacked??? Thank you.

Forgot to add earlier that I am able to check my emails on Yahoo and my cell phone but not on MAC MAIL!

Applications/Utilities/Keychain Access - delete the password there.

I did try it but still no emails coming in except for junk mails.

You are welcome. Mail/Preferences/Accounts - delete the account and add it back. If you have any saved e-mails that are important to you, Mail/Mailbox/Export Mailbox and save it to your Desktop. Probably not necessary, but s safety measure.
