Notification Center and control disabled problem iPhone 6

hello All,

I am facing a problem with iPhone 6. Have bought it just 15 days back, but have faced this problem around 5 times.

have already tried resetting settings twice, but this issue is coming again randomly .

i Am not able to access notification and control centres from within the phone by directly swiping down or up. But can access through assistive touch and also from lock screen. If I restart phone it will work fine for 1-2 days .

DI'd anyone our there have faced this issue ?

Good Morning Rana7786,

If I'm understanding your issue, you are saying that you know how to swipe to access the Notification Center and the Control Center, but that the iPhone is not always responding to the swipe? Are you experiencing any other issue with swiping or gestures in other applications?

If not, I would suggest backing up the iPhone and restoring the iOS software, since these features are a part of the operating system.

iCloud: Restore or set up your iOS device from iCloud
http://support.apple.com/kb/ph12521

When you set up a new iOS device or need to restore information on one you already have, your iCloud backup makes it easy.

Restore from an iCloud backup

  1. On your iOS device, go to Settings > General > Software Update. If a newer version of iOS is available, follow the onscreen instructions to download and install it.

  2. Make sure you have a recent backup to restore from.

    • On your iOS 8 device: Go to Settings > iCloud > Storage > Manage Storage, then tap a device listed under Backups to see the date and size of its latest backup.

    • On your iOS 7 device: Go to Settings > iCloud > Storage & Backup > Manage Storage, then tap a device listed under Backups to see the date and size of its latest backup.

For information about backing up manually now, see Back up your iOS device to iCloud. If you don’t see a backup you expected to be there, see the Apple Support article If you need help restoring an iCloud backup.

  3. Go to Settings > General > Reset, then tap “Erase all content and settings.”

  4. In the Setup Assistant, proceed to “Set up your device,” tap Restore from a Backup, then sign in to iCloud.

  5. Proceed to “Choose backup,” then choose from a list of available backups in iCloud.

For help deciding which backup to restore from, including information about restoring from another device’s backup, see the Apple Support article If you need help restoring an iCloud backup.

Set up a new device from an iCloud backup

  1. Turn on your iOS device.

  2. In the Setup Assistant, proceed to “Set up your device,” tap Restore from a Backup, then sign in to iCloud.

  3. Proceed to “Choose backup,” then choose from a list of available backups in iCloud.

After using an iCloud backup to restore or set up a device:

  • Your settings and accounts are restored from the iCloud backup you chose. Your device restarts and begins downloading your purchased music, movies, TV shows, apps, books, photos, and other content. If your device can’t download the version of an app that was backed up, it downloads the latest version.

Your purchased content is automatically downloaded from the iTunes Store, App Store, or iBooks Store based on iTunes in the Cloud availability by country. Previous purchases may be unavailable if they have been refunded or are no longer available in the store.

  • You may be asked to enter passwords for iTunes Store, App Store, and iBooks Store accounts to restore purchased items.

  • Progress bars appear below Home screen icons for apps being downloaded.

To make an app a priority for downloading, tap its icon.

To check if the information on your device is fully restored, go to Settings > iCloud > Storage (Settings > iCloud > Storage & Backup on an iOS 7 device).

If you subscribe to iTunes Match, you can download your songs, albums, and playlists from iCloud after other information on your device is fully restored.

For information about messages that may appear while restoring information from an iCloud backup, see the Apple Support article If you need help restoring an iCloud backup.

Note: You can restore information on your iOS device from an iTunes backup instead of an iCloud backup. For information, see the iTunes Help topic Back up your iPod touch, iPhone, or iPad.

Hi Judy,

The problem has came back again. it was fine for 2 weeks and now started again. Can you please suggest what can be done .

I am facing few other problems also. Could you please suggest on below too :-

In wechat application, when I open a chat and open the camera option to click and send photo, then I can only click photo once.

If after some time I go back and try to take another photo from the in-built camera option of wechat, the camera hangs, or only black screen is shown. Later if I click any of volume button, then photo is clicked and black screen shows the photo. I am not able to use that option now.

Also, this problem is faced in my phone alone. I have another 2 friends using iphone 6 and same IOS updated and same version of Wechat application. But their phone doesn't have nay problem.

Regards,

Rana
