What printer do you have? (Make and model.) Not all wifi printers are Airprint-compatible. If it is not, there is an application called Printopia which you can purchase which gets installed on the iMac (since that will likely stay turned on) to enable Airprint.

Yeah, that's not an Airprint-compatible printer. e-Print is not the same as Airprint. You can't print natively from an iOS device without the Printopia software I mentioned.

There is no need to set up a printer on your iPhone.

First your printer must support AirPrint. Just because a printer can be used from a Mac over Wi-Fi does not mean the printer supports AirPrint. The following link has a list of all printers that support AirPrint. If your printer is listed and is on the same Wi-Fi network as your iPhone just select the print command in the you want to print from. The Print command is often in the Sharing icon. That is the icon of an small box with upward pointing arrow.

If your printer is not listed, it probably does not support AirPrint. Check the App Store app to see if the manufacturer of your printer has an app to allow printing.

Thanks Ralph I see that my printer is not AirPrint supported, the problem is I have been printing from my IPhone 6 with the updated software  and now it is not working. It only works with my Mac's after cutting the power to the printer and letting it reset. I have downloaded the latest drivers from HP but it is only for the Mavericks OSX and I am using Yosemite OSX. I did buy a New AirPort Extreme and everything worked fine with my old Extreme. I would suppose if I hooked my printer up direct to the Extreme is would work with all my products.

    Any suggestions

No, it will not work if you hook it up to your Airport Extreme directly. It will work if you use HPs app. It will work if you are using a 3rd party app such as Printopia. But you cannot make it an AirPrint printer and print directly.

Thanks for the help. I did use to work and all my products, so when I downloaded the latest IPHONE update that is when  it stopped working on my Phone.

Maybe IOS 8.2 will fix it.
