Macbook Air takes a long time to charge

Had macbook air since August 2014. Just recently it takes ages to charge up, I can leave it on for 2+ days and it still doesn't show a 100% charge. It seems to charge quicker when plugged in and using but if not won't reach a full charge. Does anyone else have this issue? It used to work fine.

From APPLE

My battery will not charge to 100% Occasionally, the battery may not show a full charge (100%) in OS X, even after the power adapter has been connected for an extended period of time. The battery may appear to stop charging between 93 percent and 99 percent. This behavior is normal and will help to prolong the overall life of the battery.
