When I did that, i unfortunately can't use my epson photo 1280 printer anymore....! more

Feb 7, 2015 11:18 AM in response to saomeishby Kappy,What does the Epson application do? Can you operate the printer without it? If you have an Epson Stylus Photo 1280 then it is supported in Gimp Print.

If you mean the "disc" that you received with the printer then that software is too old for the current OS.
i tried to find versions of it that i can download but have had no luck... what can i do to install it into my computer.
Download and install Epson Printer Drivers v2.19 for OS X. The Epson Stylus Photo 1280 is in the Apple list of supported printers and scanners.
