Hi. What browser are you using, safari? In safari, you can go to reset safari and check all the boxes, then hit reset. Also check your extensions in the safari preferences by turning them off an then turn them on one at a time. In your home folder /library/preferences/com.apple.safari.plist. You could move it to your desktop and see if this helps. If it does delete the one on the desktop. If not you can put it back in the preferences and delete the new one or just trash the old one. Also go to disk utilities and repair permissions. There have been other reports of this happening on Macbook Pro's with retina displays. This is as close as anyone has come to a fix. Make sure you software is up to date.

It looks like your MBP is experiencing GPU problems.  Make an appointment at an Apple store genius bar for a FREE evaluation and bring a copy of the report with you.

    Ciao.

Hi. If you are referring to com. apple. safari. plist. It's in you home user folder in Library/ preferences. As in top of desktop/go/ home. Everything you need to get to in safari is, safari top menu /safari. Click on safari.

Hi. You could if al else fails take it to an apple store as OGELTHORPE suggested.  There have been many posts on this problem in here. One solution was to turn off the automatic switching between the nvidia graphics and the intel graphics and just run the intel. If this is an option on your Macbook Pro.Some of the people that have gone to apple have been told that there is nothing wrong. I don't know , because I am not that much of an expert,. But it seems there is a problem with graphics switching when in automatic. Maybe apple has an update for this, but iI have not check to see.

Odd that I would be having the same problem on the same day. I just spent the last 3 hours trying to get my mac back after the screen died and the same panic. However with mine the screen was completely black and I could only use screen sharing from another machine to see what was going on. Reset SMC and NVRAM to no avail. I noticed when I logged in and looked at system report that it indicated Intel 4000 (null) and no dedicated GPU anywhere to be found. (2012 15" retina). I did a little "fonzi" move on my knee and tried one last restart and it's back.

I just updated to the latest software update. (2 days ago maybe). Did you update to this recently yourself?

Here in the UK, I can't seem to get an appointment with a Genius for an entire week. - And that one is about 60 miles away. Sheesh. This is my work machine!

Hi. does that mean you have everything up and running?I found the spec's for your Macbook Pro and will give you a link.  http://support.apple.com/kb/sp653  determine which graphics card using.  http://support.apple.com/en-us/HT202053 alsohttp://support.apple.com/en-us/HT202043  If you uncheck auto switching of the graphics card in energy saver it reverts to the nvidia card only. But if the nvidia card has problems, you may not want to do this. In automatic, when you play video's, it goes to the higher video card. That might be the reason for the crashes.
