problems with upgrading to IOS 8.1.3

I recently upgraded from 8.1.2 to 8.1.3 on my 4S I phone. Now the phone will not shut off and battery life is significantly shorten. I can't seem to back to 8.1.2 with my backup in I Tunes. Any suggestions?

Downgrading of iOS is not supported by Apple, so you will not be able to go back to iOS 8.1.2. Restoring a backup does not restore the older iOS. What happens when you attempt to turn the phone off? What other troubleshooting have you tried?

Herb,

Chris is actually wrong, Apple still signs 8.1.2 on 4S. You have to download the ipsw file for your phone and restore it in iTunes to the previous version (I have just done it on 5S). You open iTunes and press Alt, Option + click Restore. You can browse for the file you have downloaded and there you are. Make sure before all of this you backup to both iCould and local pc.

Hurry up, 8.1.2 will not be signed by Apple too long.
