Q: Best Upload to Youtube Setting

Hey Guys and Girls,

 

I was wondering if anyone has a good Custom Setting that they created for maximizing quality in Youtube  for 1080p mov video. The normal setting does not come in that good of quality that I see Professionals using. I am trying to upload a video from Final Cut Pro to Youtube for my website. Or is there a better website that I can upload video to besides Youtube and host that video on website. Thanks.

    The stock setting for Compressor/FCP is quite good in my experience. YT, Vimeo, et al re-compresses whatever you upload. So the more data you start with the better. Some people (who aren't in a hurry) upload Pro Res 433422 (or LT) files for that reason.  You could try that with a short test to see whether it makes a difference,
