Accessing photos on iCloud

Can I upload my photos or one entire event(s) with iPhoto on to iCloud (of course within storage limit) and than get a link that my friends can see this photos or event in browser w/o having iCloud account?

Can I password protect this uploaded photos or an event on iCloud, to share this only with invited people (I would send them password by email)? Please note, that this question is related to question above!

Basically, I'm asking this because Apple service photo gallery within MobileMe had this two options and were really good.
