In multiple Apple mail folders I have messages of which the content has disappeared. I did a rebuild of inbox and the content came back. I did the same for my 'draft' folder and now all the messages in that folder have completely dissapeared.

Bootup holding CMD+r, or the Option/alt key to boot from the Restore partition & use Disk Utility from there to Repair the Disk, then Repair Permissions.
Any change on Rebuild again?
Thanks for your reply but that didn't work. Managed to solve the issue finally yesterday. It was a problem with the index of the messages which was solved by importing the *.mbox files located the ~/Library/Mail/V2/.... folder.
