This weekend BBC radio disappeared from Apple TV.
This is due to BBC stopping using Windows Media Player.
My Denon Internet radio has found alternate BBC format and works again.
I cannot get Apple tv to find other BBC streams.
Is there a solution?

I never knew it had any BBC Radio stations - where were you choosing those?
I don't get why Apple & the BBC haven't got together to make an iPlayer channel/app for Apple TV, but you can find BBC stations within the Radio channel.
Slightly easier to check the catalogue in iTunes, but the following BBC stations are available in iTunes > Internet Radio or Apple TV > Radio

Having said that your mileage may vary depending upon where you are in the world and the regional settings of your device. I've run across several threads in the past where existing shortcuts to streams go down, so it may be a temporary issue. What stations are you trying to listen to?
FWIW I doubt that Apple TV or iTunes would be using the WMA streams so I don't think that announcement has any bearing in this case.

Well as tt2 notes those stations are available which is a good find for me - not sure if they were always there but I would never have looked for Radio 4 under Comedy 😁
Anyway, AppleTV should not use WMA for streaming, and I've just checked and BBC Radio 3 and 4 play fine for me, not tested others yet.

That is where it used to be but I am trying reset of A TV and the station is still listed but no longer works.
I am in middle east but using a VPN to UK.

Radio 2 is working here for me in London, UK right now on both Apple TV and iTunes. I haven't tried resetting the ATV, but this is a new test iTunes library so it has just had to fetch all of the radio stations from Apple's catalogue.

Wondered if you may have been trying over VPN.
Just to confirm Radio 2 works within UK.
Apple TV no longer plays BBC radio. BBC pulls windows media player support.
