os 10.10.2

I have OS 10.10.2 and cannot wireless print using my Brother HL4070CDW. The computer in systems preferences shows printer not connected. Is this a problem with 10.10.2?

A printer will be listed by "connection" in the printer list. So, if you added that printer via USB, then disconnected the cable, it will indeed be disconnected.

If you click the Add button, can you find your wireless printer?

Network Printer Troubleshooting

If you have the printers IP address open Terminal (Applications/Utilities) and at the prompt type: ping {printerIP}. You will get a reply or failure.

If you haven't done so already, try resetting the printing system.
