Why does my iPhone 6 deletes my music everytime my memory becomes full?

So I have an iphone6 16GB and everytime I receive a message that my memory is almost full, my iphone automatically deletes my music.randomly. this only happened when I switched to the 6. When I was using my iPhone 5, everytime my memory becomes full, it will just "clean" those apps that has cache. but this time, it deletes my music and it is becoming frustrating to redownload everything. Anyone having the same issue?

iPhone 6, iOS 8.1.3

As much as I would like to monitor and make sure that my iPhone doesnt reach the capacity, there are some apps (FB, Instagram, Twitter, etc. ) that store a lot of cache that makes my memory full. And as before, my iPhone 5 doesnt delete my music everytime I reach my capacity. It will just not allow me to install an app or take a picture until I free up space. You mentioned that there is a way to turn it off?ive tried googling it but I cant seem to find the answer. Hope you remember how it is done. 😟
