I found this in keychain fmfd-daemon-aps-token

Hi,

I found fmfd-daemon-aps-token in my Keychain, I have tried to delete it but it keeps coming back on start up. My OS is Yosemite 10.10.2 how do I get rid of it or stop it from coming back.

The only thing that I could think of is when I was setting up my Brother wifi printer, the setup software requested access, normally I deny any such thing, but by mistake I may have accidentally clicked the wrong button. Do I have anything to be concerned about?

Hi rachel,

I have the same thing on mine and I believe it is related to the nasty virus I now have on my mac and have to take it in to a professional to resolve. I would not do any internet banking, paypal, money transfer business AT ALL until you are 500% positive your mac is clean.

I would try installing Kaspersky trial version anti-virus for mac, install all updates and run it to see what it can dig up for you. I tried, but it was too late for me as I'm told the fmfd can put sophisticated trojans on your mac which will prevent from successfully installing anti-virus.

I believe it came from screen sharing, using join.me or logMEin or TeamViewer with Adobe support. I now know any screen sharing where someone else can control your mac/pc is like giving candy to a baby for hackers.

This is not at all related to a "virus." It is normal. It's related to Find My Mac and Find My Friends.

Do not install Kaspersky, that will only cause problems.

Hi

Many thanks for your reply which has been a big relieve. One thing I do not do is entertain Kaspersky, the only thing I rely on is my Mac and making sure I am vigilant, careful and not share my computer or Screen. Thank you all for your valued help, many of us would be lost without you great supporters.
