using 1600mhz DDR3 ram in early 2008 imac.

I understand that the max ram a 2008 imac can handle is 6gb. However I already have 8gb of 1333mhz ram on hand, if installed in my 2008 imac will I have any issues?

iMac, iOS 8.1.3, early 2008 imac

It’s not possible to put DDR3 RAM into that iMac model.

It will not work, and as a matter of fact, it won't fit.
