I got my macbook air 13" for Christmas in 2014. I deleted keynote not knowing what it was. I now need it and when I go into the mac store, it is telling me that I have to pay the $19.99 to reinstall it. Please help!

Log into the Mac App Store with the Apple ID associated with it, click on the Purchases tab, and download it from there. If you don’t have access to that Apple ID or didn’t associate it with one, click here and contact Apple.

So in other words if you have the same Apple ID yes
Did you delete the shortcut on the Dock or did you delete the App in the Applications folder? If you just made the Dock short cut disappear, you can open Launchpad and drag it back on the Dock. If you deleted Keynote out of Applications, try opening App Store and install from your Purchases.
If i deleted keynote, can i reinstall it?
