Can I copy sound files from one computer to another?

Hope someone can please help.

I am currently using Logic Express on my iMac (which is still running Snow Leopard). I am getting a new Macbook Pro and would like to install Logic on it. I don't have the money to buy the new Logic Pro X (at this time). The problem is, I have all the original Jam Packs, but they will no longer install, because the installers require Rosetta, and that is no longer supported on the newer OSX (Mavericks or Yosemite).

Can I just copy over the folders and files in the usual places like /LIbrary/Application Support/Logic/*

Will Logic find them?

Thanks in advance
