Q: Pop-up icon on the dock

An icon pops up on the edge of the dock of my macbook air whenever I use my iPhone-it shows what website I'm on or who I'm texting on my phone.  How do I stop this?

MacBook Air (13-inch Mid 2013), OS X Yosemite (10.10.1)
