Q: how to activate iphone thats signed up to an old apple account????

what can i do? my sister has given me her old iphone 4s. but it is signed up to her old apple ID. she had to make a new one as she couldnt remember the ID and password. the year is set up to one that is not her birth year and we cant figure it out. the email is also an old one!

If she cannot remember her details or security questions then

You will have to try to recover the password or contact Apple for help.

IF you still cannot recover it, contact Apple according to the instructions here.

She needs to either contact Apple’s Account Security team or ask Apple to unlock the device, which requires supplying its original purchase receipt.
