game center will not login in my sons account after I restored it through iTunes

I recently restored my son's new iPad through iTunes but now I can get his game center account to come on. I used one of the iTunes sub accounts provided (e.g.. john@me.com) to create his game center account, but now when I try to log in it keeps pulling up my game center account. How can I fix this? Any help will be greatly appreciated.
