Problem with fresh install of snow leopard 10.6.7 from disc.

I have an early 2011 mbp 13" and I've installed a new HDD. Lost my original install discs but got 10.6.7 from Apple.
I have erased and formatted the drive, but when I try to install os from dvd, it goes straight to apple store login and tells me I haven't purchased anything from the store. I cannot see an option to install from dvd. I booted with option key, or C, but there's still no option to install from dvd. I have not booted into internet recovery.

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.6.7)
