I cannot open iPhoto and overtime I try, it says it is missing the life plugins

MacBook Pro (13-inch Early 2011), OS X Yosemite (10.10.1)

Which iPhoto version are you using?

iPhoto 9.6?

reinstall the OS - OS X: About OS X Recovery - Apple Support - I have found this works best with a hard wired internet connection
