Q: Can't export file from Compressor

Below, the file at the top "Diane & GJ" was created as an ac3 file. I sent the project to Compressor version 4.1.3 in order to maintain the chapter makes I created in Final Cut Pro X. However, this ac3 file shows Zero bytes. I want to import the file with chapters to IDVD in order to make a nice impression with the chapters.

Please help

AC3 is an audio format. iDVD will not accept files from Compressor that are in DVD format. You need to give it original master files for it to compress.

Just to let you know, if you intended to post an image,  it is not being displayed in this thread.

In addition to what Tom said about compatible iDVD files, if you have a file ( AC3 or otherwise)  with zero bytes, something went wrong when the file was created.

The workflow to iDVD doesn't use Compressor, but rather is: export a master file with chapters from FCP and then import that master file into iDVD.
