If your iTunes icon is now red, it sounds like you have upgraded to iTunes 12.
For copying files, please check which ones copy or don't copy and check the lock status and permissions in both locations.
Mac OS X: File can't be moved if locked - Apple Support
To fix this, unlock the file before you move it. Follow these steps:
- 1. Click the Finder icon in the Dock.
- 2. Select the file.
- 3. Choose File > Get Info (or Show Info for Mac OS X 10.1.5 or earlier).
- 4. Click to deselect the Locked option.
Tip: If the checkbox is dimmed, you probably don't have permission to move or edit the file.

Checked all the songs that I want to copy to pen drive, none of them is locked. ( Lock option in Get Info is not clicked ).
Please suggest.

If the files are not locked, then check the permissions and test with other files to isolate.
