MAC was unable to locate the device (HP ENVY 5660) on the network

I'm trying to set up my new printer (HP ENVY 5660) wirelessly on my MAC (late 2009) and I get the error message " wireless network settings were successfully downloaded to your device however, your MAC was unable to locate the device on the network". Any suggestions? Everything works just fine when it is connected with USB.

If you have the printers IP address open Terminal (Applications/Utilities) and at the prompt type: ping {printerIP}. You will get a reply or failure.

If you haven't done so already, try resetting the printing system.
