What is the remedy when one letter key does not work?

I have an older Mac lap top. Does anyone know what I can do when one of the letter keys does not work?

Yes, or at a Certified Service Provider, or at any repair shop that repairs Macs.

If your Mac is as old as the mac in the forum you have posted your question in, the Apple Store will have nothing to do with it all all.
