I can't see my iPhoto images

I've been uploading my pictures to my Facebook albums. I access iPhoto through the Facebook uploader feature.

These are the steps I normally take because it is most efficient for me:

  1. I open X album in iPhoto
  2. I select add photos to album in Facebook
  3. On the left sidebar, under “Media” I select “Photos”
  4. Under iPhoto there is “Events”, “Photos, “Faces”, “Places”, X album, “Last 12 Months”, “Last Import” and “Flagged"
  5. I select X album
  6. I select the photos I want to upload
  7. Voilà

I do not upload them directly from iPhoto because I can’t put anything in the description of the photo, I can’t tag if I want to and I can’t insert the appropriate date.

Now, my issue is that I can no longer see the images in iPhoto. It’s as if I didn’t have any picture at all. I can see the Photo Booth ones just fine. But nothing in iPhoto.

I upgraded to Yosemite last night. I don’t know if that has anything to do with it. 😕 Or maybe it was me trying to copy the iPhoto library to my external hard drive for backup.
