Q: iPhone 5 rear camera isn't working

hi my iPhone 5 rear camera isn't working. It freezes and shows a purple screen at times. This happens with any camera app such as snapchat too. Front camera is working though

iPhone 5, iOS 8.1.2

Hello kimhines24,

That is not a good thing to have when the camera does not work. To get it resolved, take a look at the article below and go over some troubleshooting options. If it does not work, then you will need to contact Apple either over the phone or in an Apple Retail Store for possible service.

i have the same problem, im from argentina. Here isnt apple cares and apple stores . in april i stay in Miami, USA. I need help to create an Anypointment to fix this. (sorry for my english)

The warranty is only good for the country you purchased it in. Where did you purchase your device?

i buy in the Apple store Lincoln Road Miami beach, in september 2014. Only works two months normally, and dosnt work more. Its the 2nd iphone 5 i have, and the first have problems with the button Sleep/wake. I very dissapointed.
