Any 'Power On' button for the Apple keyboard?

Any 'Power On' button for the Apple keyboard?

It is possible to boot the Mac Pro without pressing its rear power button? There is a handy 'Power On' button for the Apple Keyboard named 'i-Cue' (see below), but it no longer works with the new Macs (G5 and Mactel).

A shame that Apple removed the power button of their keyboards years ago. So, what I am looking for is something similar to this, but working with the new Macs:

---
USB Boot Dongle (i-Cue) for Mac
Allows you to work with your G3 or G4 mini tower hidden out of the way
You can have your Mac under the desk, yet it can be easily turned on from the keyboard position. Simply clips on to the Apple Pro Keyboard
Includes 1.8m pass-through USB cable.

Thanks.

I think at one point the display's power button had the ability to turn on the Mac, but I'm on a Mac Pro at Micro Center at the moment where I work, and I only see an option to put the system to sleep from the display button.

That's all I can think of. I agree with you, though, I love having the power button on the keyboard. I wonder why Apple got rid of it...?

Well, actually the Apple's Cinema Displays (the new ones with DVI, not the ADC) allow you to turn your computer on, off or into sleep mode.
In the system preferences you can allow that to happen.
I have configured it so that when I turn my 30" on the computer turns on and when I press the button to power off the monitor OSX simply asks what you want to do (sleep, shutdown, etc).
This works when I connect the monitor to the Mac Pro and also when connected to the MacBook Pro.
Very handy in deed.

Update:

The Power button on the Apple Cinema Display does work or does not work to turn the Mac on/off depending on the model of both the display and the Mac. For instance, such feature works on the following configuration:

Apple Cinema Display 22-inch TFT LCD screen - DVI (not ADC)
PowerMac G4/500 (AGP)

But it does not work with the same display and the Mac mini 1.83 GHz Intel Core Duo. In this case, the power button of the display does nothing at all.

Any 'Power On' button for the Apple keyboard?
