Q: How do I save videos taken by iphone, which is downloaded to iPhoto (and deleted from phone) back to iphone?

Hi,

I have downloaded my iPhone photos and videos using iPhoto on my mac. Right after download, it prompted me to keep or delete photos from phone. I chose "delete". So now there is no trace of these photos and videos on my phone, not even in the "Recently Deleted" Folder. I usually choose the photos I like and save them into an album in Iphoto , before syncing them back to my iphone using iTunes. I did the same with the videos, but when I sync back to my iphone, I can only view the videos as photo thumbnail. How do I sync back these videos into iPhone?

I have tried using iMovies, but the problem I have is that these videos were taken in vertical format, and iMovie exported files are in landscape (16:9 or 4:3). So when I watch on the iPhone, I cannot view them in the original recorded vertical format full screen, but rather, it is played back in landscape mode only, so my vertical video only can be as tall as the width of iPhone, which makes it very small.

I just need my videos to be synced back onto my phone to be viewed in full screen when held vertically. Please advise.

iMac, Mac OS X (10.5.4)
