Q: Why does it say I have 28 GB of movies on my macbook pro?

I just got a new mac which is only 120GB+ base model(newest). I did back up my photo and my music though. My music folder is not that big but I remember the photos being like 38 GB. Why does it say I have 28 GB of movies when I have no videos so far. There might be some videos in iphoto though but not that big. How do I delete them? It also says there is an "Other" which occupies 23.45 GB. My apps are 12.43 GB which is ok, my photos are saying 6.72 GB instead of like 32 GB. My audio is 6.34 GB which is ok and the back up is 12 MB which is ok.
