Q: I have a question

All of a sudden I have this new Icon on my MacBook Air, called Wireless Diagnostics, and my iPad won't send or receive emails or allow me to go online. what do I do to fix my problem?

MacBook Air, iOS 8.1.3, I guessed at the iOS 8.1.3

Is this About Wireless Diagnostics - Apple Support the wireless diagnostics you're talking about? Is it possible that you've changed some network settings on the Macbook and you need to make the changes so that your iPad can connect to the network?
