Calendar Repeat Until Date

Hi, All

On my late2010 MacBook Air, using OSX 10.10.2 and Calendar 8.0 (2032.6.1), I am unable to make an event that repeats until a date.

Making an event that repeat indefinitely, or for a certain number of times both works.

When I choose "end repeat: On Date", no field for the date appears, and the result is as if I chose "end repeat: Never"- even if I have set it to repeat a certain number of times.

Have anyone else had this problem?

MacBook Air, OS X Yosemite (10.10.2)

After you get to the never, try clicking it again. That gave me an option to pick a date.

Thanks for the suggestion-- I tried this sequence:

-Create an event

-Set it to repeat: Every Day

-Open the roll-down menu and choose end repeat: Never Again (Repeat twice)

-Try to choose end repeat: On Date

Did I do it right?

Unfortunately, a Date field did not appear.

I agree with Eric Root. I did this sequence:

Create a new event.
Click "Repeat" and set to "Every Day".
On the "End Repeat" line, click "Never" and change to "On Date".
That displays the event's date on the right. But clicking that date yields the following, which can be used to set the desired end date:

Thanks for looking into this-

On my mac, however, the date field does not show up (see attached screengrab)

I remember using the setting before, which is why it confuses me when I see no field for date when there was one before, and there still is in your screenshot.

Your screen shot shows "9/2/2015".

In your location, does that mean 9 February? If so, perhaps that is the issue as that date has passed.

Try setting up the event starting on a future date.

Hi

I'm having the exact same issue as yourself ... this is driving me crazy ... ending the event after N times works flawlessly ... Not the case on a date since no way of specifying it ...

I will send this feedback to apple since I'm a appleseed use, maybe this is a bug of some sort and can be work out

Hi Everyone,

is there actually a fix, or working workaround by now?

I have the same issues as the original poster, and could not resolve it by clicking on "never" first.
