"You might see authorization requests on your online statement. These requests aren't actual charges; they are tests to confirm that your payment card account is active and has available funds to accommodate transactions."

Feb 12, 2015 12:08 PM in response to klauu1by King_Penguin,★HelpfulThe temporary store holding charge will happen every time that you add or change your credit card (or address) details, it's to check that the card details are correct and valid and that it's registered to the same name and address as on your iTunes account (it has to be done each time the details are changed in case the card has been cancelled since you last added it) - your card issuer should remove it within a few days or so.
