can't receive email time warner

My desktop is a mac osx 10.5.8. I use roadrunner email. My mail version is 3.6. As of 2 days ago, I can no longer receive emails BUT can send them.

I am receiving my emails on my laptop and android.

I have gone online and there are all sorts of fixes but I don't know enough about the inner workings of my computer to complete these tasks.

I can't even locate the library mail folder that the online fixes say to go to...

HELP!
