Feb 12, 2015 12:03 PM in response to vZ10by Old Toad,Check at Crucial.com for the type of memory needed with your iMac. The newer iMacs are very picky about RAM meeting all specifications and Cruial.com and otherworldcomputing.com have the best reputations for quality modules and excellent customer service and guarantees. I prefer Crucial for my RAM and OWC for hard drives, and other hardware.

Other brands with those specs may work. OWC and Crucial guarantee they will work (i.e they are certified to work).
