turbotax 2014 uninstall

Macbook pro with Yosemite: I bought and installed just the personal Turbo tax by mistake, so I returned the wrong version, and then uninstalled- (to trash and emptied). When I installed home and business it still thinks it is Deluxe and still wont do my taxes. The shortcut says home and business. So i went to TT site asked the question and was referred to a Mac procedure to additionally check removed some files- I was unable to find these files, many were .plist. I am sure the correct program is somewhere on my MAC, but the shortcut is being intercepted somehow.

https://ttlc.intuit.com/questions/1901210-remove-uninstall-turbotax-for-mac Hi there. I have probably the same link you have to uninstall turbo tax. But I'll see if i can helpYou will have to do a lot of looking to find everything.I would ,using the link, start with your home folders. Then use computer and check the library folders then the system library folders. Most likely the problem is your Home library preferences. You can use the go menu at the top to do this. Or use in the top menu go/ go to folder and type in the name of the file or files you want to find. You will be doing this one at a time.
