Q: Change Apple ID on old iPad.

I bought a new iPad Air2 and changed my Apple ID. I'm wanting to clear out my old iPad, but can't because my old Apple ID now does not work, and I need it to to exit out of iCloud and iTunes. Thoughts?

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities!

It sounds like you no longer know the password for the Apple ID that is signed into iCloud and iTunes on your previous iPad. For iTunes & App Store, you do not need to know the password to sign out. Please refer to the iTunes, iBooks, and App Store section of the first attached article for information on how to sign out.

Sign in with a different Apple ID on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

You will need the password for that Apple ID to turn off Find My iPhone and sign out of iCloud, however. To reset the password for that Apple ID, please refer to the next attached article.
