Q: AirPort Extreme as extender

i have the new comcast Modem which includes wifi how do I use my AirPort Extreme as a extender

    Locate the AirPort Extreme in the area where you need more wireless signal coverage......and......connect an Ethernet cable, which must remain connected at all times from the WAN "O" port on the AirPort Extreme back to a LAN <--> port on the Comcast modem/router.

     

    Use the setup wizard in iOS 6.1.3 to set up the AirPort Extreme.  On the iPhone or iPad home screen, tap Settings, the tap WiFi.  Tap on AirPort Extreme under the listing of Set Up a New Base Station.

     

    The "wizard" will suggest the correct setup to create a new network. Give the AirPort Extreme network the same name and same password that the Comcast modem/router uses to extend your network correctly.
