Feb 14, 2015 12:14 PM in response to fpalmoreby brenden dv,Hi fpalmore,
I apologize, I'm a bit unclear on the exact nature of what you are describing or what you are seeing (there are no credits or gift cards in Apple Pay). If you are talking about redeeming credits that you may have in your iTunes Store account, you may find the information in the following article helpful:
Which payment methods will be used first?
When you make a purchase, content credits are used first, followed by Gift Certificate, iTunes Card, or Allowance Account credits. Your credit card or PayPal account is then charged for any remaining balance.
When you buy individual songs from the iTunes Store:
- Free song credits are redeemed first.
- If you have no free song credits, then your gift certificate, prepaid card, and allowance credits are used next.
- If your gift certificate, prepaid card, or allowance credit is less than the total cost of the purchase, your credit card is billed for the remaining balance.
- If you have no free song credits or gift certificates, prepaid cards, or allowance credits, your credit card is billed for the songs you buy.
When you buy an album on the iTunes Store:
- Gift certificate, prepaid card, and allowance credits are used first.
- If your gift certificate, prepaid card, or allowance credit is less than the total cost of the purchase, your credit card is billed for the remaining balance. Free song credits can't be used for album purchases.
- If you have no gift certificates, prepaid cards, or allowance credits, your credit card is billed for the albums you buy.

Feb 14, 2015 2:52 PM in response to fpalmoreby brenden dv,As noted in the linked article, if the credit is showing as available, it should automatically apply when you try to buy something. Is it not doing this?

Jul 24, 2015 11:50 PM in response to fpalmoreby Rhonbo,I have the same issue. My iTunes account shows $10.00 in the upper right ( I have never used any of the original balance) but there is no option to use it when purchasing anything. When I do purchase something the balance does not change and my CC is charged so I just don't buy anything in the store anymore. I use Amazon instead.
