Q: I went to sleep with my refurbished iPod working fine and when I woke up it would no longer turn on will the applecare fix this for free?

I bought a refurbished iPod a few months ago and there were no sighs of any type of damage when I got it or now, but suddenly it stopped working completely for no reason will the apple care that comes with it when you buy it fix the problem for free?

Hold down the Power/sleep button and the home button at the same time, for about ten seconds. The apple logo should come on. Then release both Buttons. that should do it.

    Try:

    - iOS: Not responding or does not turn on

    - Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

    - If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.

    - Try another cable

    - Try on another computer

    - If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order. If your iPod is defective, within warranty and has not been abused Apple will exchange it at no cost
