Upload iCloud file from Safari (iPad)

Hello Community. Like many people, I consider iCloud as a great initiative from Apple but I am desperate to see that it's impossible to select an iCloud file from Safari (iPad) and to post this file on a website. Does nobody have to upload a CV, a PDF or an Excel sheet on the Net from his iPad from example? At the moment, you can only select a picture or take a picture! This is not serious. Thanks for your replies. 🙂

Hey Flightmood,

Thanks for the question. If I understand correctly, you want to access content in iCloud from the iOS device. I would recommend that you read this article, it may be able to help the issue.

iCloud Drive FAQ - Apple Support

You can access your files in iCloud Drive any of these ways:

On your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with iOS 8, you can access your files from Apple apps like Pages, Numbers, and Keynote, or any apps that support iCloud Drive.

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.

Have a good one,

Hello Mario,

Thanks for your help. But this is not exactly my concern.

When I am surfing a website with Safari (iPad), I want to upload a file from my icloud to this website.

Example: I want to upload my resume, that is stored on my icloud, to a firm website I am applying to.

It means that Safari should let me chose a file in my icloud drive before uploading it.

That's already the case with pictures, but it seems not to work with other document types.

Thanks
