Printing from Chromebook

In order to print from a Chromebook to a network printer, the printer must be enabled from A Mac or Windows machine on the network using Google Chrome. Judging from the dates on past print jobs, I think this broke in 10.10.1 or 10.10.2. I seemed to have printed ok from the initial Yosemite release. Cloud printing stopped working from my chromebook when I upgraded my Mac to Yosemite. This is an acknowledged bug in the chromebook community, is there any insight from Mac support?
