Bands of color on title bar of windows

We are just upgrading from Mavericks to Yosemite and I have been seeing a "rainbow" effect on window title bars. I mostly notice this in Safari. It appears behind the search field. It can be red, blue, green, or yellow. Colors change/go away when bringing Safari to the foreground. When the color is gone there is a gray gradient on the title bar, the darker areas of that gradient is where the color shows up.

This is happening on two iMacs. One is a late 2012 27" the other is a 2010 21.5".

I was a bit surprised to find no reference to this on the internet. I did a few searches,,, nothing.

Is anyone else seeing this?

I will make a bug report if it's not just me.
