I have music on my imac (10.6.8) that I would like to transfer to my ipad (IOS8.3) and iphone! Can anyone explain the procedure?

A:

You can only transfer the music you have selected. Do this via the sidebar in iTunes when the phone is connected. Click on the Music tab.
