It sounds like your computer is giving you an odd error messge when you try to install iTunes. This article should help you get that resolved, named:
If you can't install or update iTunes for Windows
Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.

Feb 15, 2015 2:15 PM in response to hallåby turingtest2,If the above advice hasn't helped...
For "Key not valid for use in specified state" errors try moving the folder RSA from C:\Users\<User>\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Crypto\RSA to say C:\RSA (just in case there should be a need to restore it) then try installing again. This folder appears to act as a cache and should be rebuilt automatically as required.

Feb 17, 2015 4:27 AM in response to hallåby turingtest2,For general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down the page in case one of them applies.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.
If the advice above doesn't resolve things you could try this alternate version:
- iTunes 12.1.0.71 for Windows (64-bit - for older video cards) - itunes64setup.exe (2015-01-28)
which is a 64-bit installer for the 32-bit version of the core application, similar to previous 64-bit releases.
Or roll back to the previous build:
- iTunes 12.0.1.26 for Windows (32-bit) - iTunesSetup.exe (2014-10-16)
- iTunes 12.0.1.26 for Windows (64-bit) - iTunes64Setup.exe (2014-10-16)

Feb 19, 2015 3:44 AM in response to turingtest2by hallå,I still get the same error message and will not download itunes. I uninstalled: Itunes, Bonjour, Mobile Device Support, Apple Software Update, Iphone Configuration Utility, etc. I can't figure out why this is happening.
Could it have to do with: "Key not valid for use in specified states."

Feb 19, 2015 3:53 AM in response to hallåby turingtest2,Did you follow my earlier advice on moving the RSA folder?
Have you followed all of the uninstallation instructions, including the removal of specific folders and reboot.
Have you downloaded a fresh copy of the installer?
What version of iTunes are you trying to install?
Have you tried the process in Install missing components?
What error message do you get now, and what are you doing to trigger it?

Feb 20, 2015 5:47 AM in response to hallåby hallå,I am trying to install the latest version of itunes 12.1.0.71.
I uninstalled itunes and rebooted. I looked and uninstalled all in my c drive, except my music library in my external hard drive and itunes library in external hard drive.
What is RSA and where can I find it? I tried looking and nothing found.
What is a fresh copy ot the installer?
While installing itunes and the progress of the installation starts to move on and it installs components and then I get this message>
Key not valid for use in specified state. 4or 5 times pops up.
At end of installation this error message comes up>
Itunes installer complete.
Errors occured during installation before itunes could be configured.
Your system has not been modified. To complete the installation, run the installer again.
Click Finish to exit installer.
Will try process in Install missing components at this moment.

Feb 20, 2015 6:19 AM in response to hallåby turingtest2,As given earlier in the thread.

This folder appears to act as a cache and should be rebuilt automatically as required.
Replace <User> with your user name. Note the AppData folder is normally hidden, but you can go to your user folder and then edit the address to reveal it, or press the WinLogoKey+R to open the run dialog, type in %appdata% and then press enter, which opens C:\Users\<User>\AppData\Roaming.
By a fresh copy of the installer I mean using one of the download links to download a new copy of the appropriate iTunes setup file for your system rather than reusing a copy you had downloaded previously.
