I synched my iPod to my computer and I am frozen on the passcode page. How can I correct this?

I was synching my iPod to add music. Upon attempting this my iPod is now frozen on the passcode screen. It has started voice also. What can I do to restore my iPod to working order?

First:

Triple click the home button and try going to Settings>General>Accessibility and turn VoiceOver off. You may have to use three fingers to scroll the screen to get there. If problems see the following for how to turn off via iTunes:

iPhone: Configuring accessibility features (including VoiceOver and Zoom)

If not successful

Try:

- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on

- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.

- Try another cable

- Try on another computer

- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.
