does anyone have any ideas or solutions you can help me with.

thankyou Sparkleberry ... i didn't know that YouTube Video was out there .. but we tried adding another account, we checked and rechecked the incoming and outgoing mail servers, went into Advanced and checked the port # .... but i still cannot 'send' any emails ...

the only other suggestion they had was to 'delete' the current account, which would delete EVERYTHING from my MacMail Inbox, Sent, Drafts, and all my Folders, ... i use my Mail and Folders as a kind of filing system (maybe unwise) ... but i just cannot imagine trying to recreate everything in there ...

and ... there is still no guarantee that it will work 😟

i'm hoping someone will have a solution for me 😟

i appreciate your help !

thank you Sparkleberry for your efforts to help me .... i called TDS again today and reached a tech in Jamaica that had SUPER problem-solving skills and he worked for over an hour and finally came up with the correct combination of server names to get it working. i think he was actually quite proud of himself, ....saying ..' think i earned my pay today' ... i was VERY IMPRESSED ... and i'm happy now ... my MacMail is again working .

thank you again for your efforts in trying to help me !
