How to delete ALL 5000 + inbox with ONE step on iphone 6 ?

THANK YOU SO MUCH I've been trying to figure out how to delete thousands of emails at once I have search the Internet this is the only way I found that really works once again thank you so so much!!!

I’ve just tried this method on my iPhone 7 and keep getting a message saying the messages were unable to be moved.

Is there an alternative shortcut anyone has found?

Try this

• Go to your Inbox folder
• Tap on the "Edit"-Button on the top right
• Select the first email in your list
• Hold down the "Move" button
• While you are still holding the "Move"-Button, deselect the first E-Mail
• Put away all your fingers from the screen and wait a few seconds
• Now Mail asks you where to move ALL of your emails
• Select the Trash Folder as destination
• From inside the Trash Folder, you can delete all items at once

I will have to find out where I got this from and edit. It does work, takes a little dexterity and patience.

I have tried it on iPhone 6 (unless memory fails me) and it worked.

Perhaps, if the deleted messages are reappearing then your mail account settings are set so that deleted messages are NOT removed from the server?

I just tried it on my 6S+ and it worked like a charm. I had 5k+ emails + attchmts

I used your method of deleting mass amounts of email on my iPhone6 plus ( I had over 21,000), and the emails are gone,but it still says I have 21,000 unread emails even though they aren't there?

On my iPhone 6 this didn't work until I marked all messages as read then I could delete all messages at once.
